I concluded my undergraduate education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, achieving a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in the year 2017. Following a couple of years off, my academic journey continued at UAB, culminating in the attainment of a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Development in 2021.

After two years working as an Instructional Designer, I have decided to further my education at Regent University. I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction. I have an anticipated graduation of May 2027.
K-12 Classroom Experience
​I had the privilege of dedicating a cumulative five years to educating students in K-12 classrooms, spreading my teaching expertise across various schools under the Alabama Department of Education. During this time, I endeavored to provide impactful and enriching educational experiences to nurture young minds, contributing to their academic growth and personal development.

Graduate Internship

Beginning in 2020, I began my graduate degree internship as an instructional designer. During this period, I had the privilege of serving as a valuable team member for the University of South Alabama Biomedical Sciences Library RedCAP Team. This role not only enriched my academic pursuits but also provided me with invaluable hands-on experience in the realm of instructional design. Working alongside a dedicated and dynamic team, I contributed my skills and knowledge to enhance educational resources, making a tangible impact within the academic and research community. It was a period of growth and innovation, as I honed my craft and embraced the multifaceted role of an instructional designer.
Present Experience
Since May of 2022, I've had the privilege of working as a remote instructional designer for Golden Gate University. In this capacity, I play a pivotal role in supporting a total of 18 disciplines every academic term. My responsibilities extend beyond conventional design tasks; I also specialize in crafting comprehensive training programs and materials. This role has allowed me to meld my passion for education with my technical expertise.
