​I’m Kaitlyn Chance

I’m an Instructional Designer passionate about building purposeful, engaging, and accessible learning experiences that empower every learner. With professional experience in higher education, K–12 teaching, and digital learning environments, I bring a holistic understanding of how people learn—and how thoughtful design can transform that process.

My work blends pedagogy, creativity, and strategy. I specialize in:

• Higher education course design and redesign
• Moodle 4.1 development and LMS optimization
• Accessible, inclusive learning grounded in UDL principles
• Multimedia asset creation, including graphics, video, and interactive elements
• Curriculum alignment using evidence-based frameworks such as Bloom’s Taxonomy, Fink’s Significant Learning, and backward design
• Collaborative development with subject matter experts to translate complex content into clear, intuitive learning pathways

I’m committed to designing learning that is not only aesthetically engaging but instructionally sound, data-informed, and aligned with measurable outcomes. My work is also enhanced by my ongoing PhD studies in Curriculum & Instruction, where I deepen my research in learning design, instructional strategy, and learner motivation.
